What was the highlight of Hotel B Unique Cozumel
A lovely hotel I would definitely return to
Really stylish hotel, lovely staff ( thank you Marcela) and beautiful outside space. There is really good snorkelling directly from the hotel steps - we saw rays, moray eels, really health colourful corals and abundant fish.
The breakfast wasn’t that good compared to other hotels we have stayed in and the special breakfast in bed which was included was completely cold when it arrived - if you do it maybe order the cold options like muesli rather than the eggs etc.

What was the highlight of Hotel B Unique Cozumel
Great hotel but a few things to work on
We loved this property, the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. The food and cocktails in the restaurant were very good! It’s in a great location if you’re flying directly into Cozumel and the onsite scooter rental makes it very easy to get around the little island. We personally didn’t use the pool or sunbeds due to a busy diving itinerary but the area was very clean and well kept.
There are 2 things that brought drown out rating. 1. is a service charge we were told about when checking in which we had received no information about prior to arriving. We were aware of an environment fee which we needed to pay and were more than happy to pay it but then we were told we needed to pay an additional €20 dollars each for services because ‘the cleaning of the rooms and waiting staff aren’t included’ this seems ridiculous to us especially when we were also tipping staff for their efforts. When we asked what this was for we were just told everyone had to pay it, it’s not that it’s a large amount but why weren’t we told in advance and what is it actually for? 2. The breakfast service, the food was very good but the service was very slow, often taking 15 minutes or so to bring juice to the table and taking egg orders and bringing the ticket to sign. Of the 7 days we were there we only managed to eat the egg once as they took so long even though we’d allowed 45 minutes for breakfast each day.
